Installed above a vertical garden, the shade extends 12 inches out from the wall and directs light down to the plants at a 10 degree angle. This angle assures the light shines on the plants and not out, above or below. This means you will not have light shining in your eyes as you view your garden.
The Vertical Garden Grow Light System includes a T5 Fluorescent Grow Light strip (including the electronic ballast and light bulb). T5 systems use improved high output bulbs to improve efficiency and efficacy. These lights are designed to support bigger growth by providing light in the exact spectrum required by plants for energy production. Their best use is for growing strong, healthy plants in the vegetative stage; however, they will also support blooming stages in some plants.
