Succulent Collection - Woolly Living Wall Planter

122.99

This garden features a collection of uniquely beautiful and hardy 'succulents' and 'jades', as the many varieties of Sempervivums, Crassulas, Agaves, Echiverias, and many more species have come to be called. These plants are among the easiest and most beautiful plants you can grow. They are extremely tolerant of cold, heat, drought, and neglect. In fact, overwatering is the most common cause of their demise.

This Kit will come with a Planter (8" H x 11.75" W) in your choice of color, the best potting soil for your plants, AND the plants described above.

This planter is made from a hard vented plastic shell that keeps its shape while allowing air circulation for the plants. It is also equipped with a self-watering tank to make watering even easier.

Drip Irrigation

For large installations, we recommend using automatic drip irrigation. 1/4” emitter lines fit inside the watering tank, emitting water evenly down to roots and reservoir. Supply lines hide neatly in the irrigation supply channel located on the left and right sides of every wall planter.

More about the plants...

Hundreds of succulents with widely differing shapes and size are available, yet they are remarkably consistent in their needs. Succulents evolved in the dry areas of the world and their general requirements are related to this habit - free draining soil, sunshine, fresh air, water in the growing season, and a cold and dry resting period. These plants prefer cold nights and they need a dormant winter season in order to be healthy. They will perform at their best if they can also have some time outdoors in the summer.
