More about the Planter...

Drip Irrigation

For large installations, we recommend using automatic drip irrigation. 1/4” emitter lines fit inside the watering tank, emitting water evenly down to roots and reservoir. Supply lines hide neatly in the irrigation supply channel located on the left and right sides of every wall planter.

More about the plants...

  • Curry leaves can be used fresh or dried to give a subtle seasoning   to soups or stews. This plant is not to be mistaken for the much stronger M.koenigii, or Curry Tree, but it will add a nice flavor. The flowers, which are borne in umbels, can be   used in the kitchen as an attractive garnish.
  • Vietnamese Coriander, also called Rau Ram, is an exotic, sometimes hard to find herb. It is often used in Vietnam interchangeably with peppermint and what we in the West would call Cilantro.
  • Chinese chives or garlic chives have flat dark green leaves with white flowers. The taste is stronger than most chives. Both leaves and flowers are edible.
  • Thai basil is a type of basil native to Southeast Asia with a sweet, licorice scent and flavor. It is more stable under high or extended cooking temperatures than that of sweet basil. Thai basil exhibits small, narrow leaves and purple stems and a pink flower.
  • Peppermint is the variety of mint that holds up best when dried for future use. It has many uses in Asian dishes.
  • Lemon Verbena provides a strong lemon flavor to whatever drink or dish it is used in. The leaves are long, slightly sticky and deciduous. This woody shrub prefers full sun and a light, well-drained soil. It's hardy only in zones 10 and 11. It should be brought indoors in the winter if you live in cooler zones. Note: Check all plants for insects before moving them inside from the outdoors.
